Author's Notes:

This was originally the seventeenth chapter of "A Perfect Circle", but it is enough of a stand-alone drift to merit being its own short story.

At the time when I wrote this, the end of my junior year of high school, life was hectic in every imaginable way. The family was undergoing shock-and-turbulence, school was waking hell, and the interpersonal life was less than ideal. Perhaps this story was self-therapy, a means of reminding myself to relax. Who better to hear that message than from characters I love, after all?
