[Valentine]manga † Petshop of Horrors by Akino Matsuri Just before Valentine’s Day, Count D sells an immature, obsessive yaoi fangirl-writer the partner of her dreams, though the girl has no idea just how problematic this may be until the pet starts to act just like the seme in all of her stories—and her stories all revolve around violence, possession, and angst. Maybe all of those things about which she daydreams—to the point of distorting and excluding reality—aren’t so romantic after all. This one-shot (divided into three-shots) started on Valentine’s Day 2005, and though I had hoped to complete it that week to have it out while the season was still in season, I did not complete the story until St. Patrick’s Day. |
