Welcome to Chariot, the official fanlisting for the Akio-Car from Shoujo Kakumei Utena. A fanlisting is a collective listing of all fans of a specific something, person, character, show, or whatever, and their websites and email addresses if they so wish to distribute those. Most people use it as a hub for link exchange and general website whoring, but others just like to place their names on the list. Whatever your reasons may be for being here, please join.

The Akio-Car is the fan-given name for Ohtori Akio’s red Chevrolet convertible, which appears in the later half of the utterly brilliant anime Shoujo Kakumei Utena, namely, the Ohtori Akio Saga and the Apocalypse Saga. Akio, the show’s deliciously manipulative bastard-of-a-villain, is often found driving around at ludicrous speeds in the dead of night on random, abandoned freeways, sometimes by himself, often with his right-hand lackey and special “friend”, Kiryuu Touga, and often with other passengers to whom he shows the “Ends of the World”. Without getting into nauseating detail about the symbolism and philosophy behind the show, I would like to profess my undying love for the car that has seen it all, heard it all, probably had hundreds of various sexual acts performed on its white leather seats, driven through second-story windows, exceeded speeds of 500 kph, multiplied and created a graveyard of itself akin to the Cadillac Ranch in the Dueling Arena, has had its clones slashed in half lengthwise and wrecked by the Duelists and their Brides, and has driven the Duelists to their limits. Literally. If the Akio-Car could talk, it could unveil a plethora of contradictions, lies, and probably some of the truths and answers that nobody else in the show (or the viewing audience) could ever answer with relative definiteness, even Akio himself. Unlike him, the Car is an objective observer, and probably the only sane being in the entire show.

1. Worship the Akio-Car.
2. Provide your name or a pseudonym and your country, at the very least. And provide a real country; Tokyo-3 and Zaibach are not real countries. These are Animefanlisting.org rules.
3. If you provide your website, you must paste a code in some easily-accessible location. If you do not link back immediately, or if I cannot find your code because it is in some obscure or illogical location (such as a random page of a fanfic, whatever), I will add you to the listing without linking back.
4. If you request, I will not display your email address, but you must still provide a functional one to be added to the fanlisting.
