As of June 5, 2008, there are no new members. Welcome to Eien Nante, the official fanlisting for “Déjà Vu” from the Tokyo Babylon OVA. A fanlisting is a collective listing of all fans of a specific something, person, character, show, or whatever, and their websites and email addresses if they so wish to distribute those. Most people use it as a hub for link exchange and general website whoring, but others just like to place their names on the list. Whatever your reasons may be for being here, please join.

“Déjà Vu” is the closing theme for the second Tokyo Babylon OVA. It is performed by Matsuoka Hideaki, the same man responsible for “Strawberry Kiss Kiss”, the first OVA closing. I’ll be the first one to admit that neither the Tokyo Babylon OVA nor “Déjà Vu” are the most brilliant things ever written (really, the OVA just does not do the manga justice), but the song is good pseudo-ghetto-80’s fun for Tokyo Babylon fans. It’s fluff. It’s yaoi fluff. It’s fluff for yaoi fans. It’s fluff for the whole family. It is reminiscent of the lighter, hope-and-romance tone Tokyo Babylon took before the end of the manga and the almost one-hundred-eighty degree revolution into the tone of X.
